At Oxdale Products, we develop and manufacture grassland and forestry machinery. Our main aim is to supply a range of affordable, high quality, British built, agricultural, grassland and forestry machinery which are suitable for both the commercial and domestic market.
Due to continued growth, an opening has arisen at Oxdale Products for someone to work in our machine assembly department.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Building an array of log splitters and farm machinery on site at Chesterfield
- Build and PDI a range of external Agricultural Machinery including DelMorino and Rosselli Machinery.
- Monitoring stock levels of components
- Working alongside our sales team to dispatch machines to customers
Key skills we are looking for:
- A good mechanical background would be preferred as there may be a requirement for servicing customers’ machines
- An understanding of basic hydraulic systems would be useful, but it is not mandatory
- Forklift Licence would be preferred but not essential
- Can remain calm under pressure while meeting deadline
- Hard working, reliable and confident - always focused on getting the job done.
You will be responsible for ensuring the department runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis. The candidate must be confident enough to use their own initiative when necessary, as well as being a good team player.
The position is full-time, five days a week, 8am to 5pm, based at our Sheepbridge factory in Chesterfield.
