Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to lead our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of cafe/restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and customer experience.
- Supervise and manage staff across various departments such as kitchen, front-of-house, and bar services.
- Develop and implement operational policies to ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Coordinate food production processes, ensuring high-quality culinary standards are maintained consistently.
- Lead team management initiatives, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and staff development programmes.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Organise special events or promotions to increase patronage and revenue streams.
- Stay updated with industry trends to innovate menu offerings and improve operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
- Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in food production management, including kitchen operations and culinary processes.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of serving procedures, hospitality standards, and barista experience is advantageous.
- Prior leadership roles in food service establishments or similar settings are essential to succeed in this position.
