Key Responsibilities & Learning Path
You will rotate through various core areas of the business, gaining hands-on experience and mastering the following:
- Warehousing & Inventory: Learn the fundamentals of supply chain logistics by working on stock rotation, inventory control, and efficient order picking.
- Fleet & Transport Operations: Hands-on involvement in truck loading, load securing, route planning, and maximizing fleet efficiency.
- Compliance & Legislation: Study and apply driver law, tachograph regulations, health and safety standards, and transport industry compliance.
- Customer Service & Administration: Work with our dispatch and account teams to manage bookings, track shipments, and resolve client inquiries.
- Leadership Development: Shadow senior managers to learn team leadership, budgeting, and strategic operational planning.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with the right attitude rather than years of industry experience. The ideal candidate must be:
- Highly Flexible: Ready to adapt to different shift patterns, working environments (from the warehouse floor to the corporate office), and evolving daily priorities.
- Eager to Learn: A natural curiosity with a strong desire to absorb technical transport regulations and operational workflows.
- A Strong Communicator: Able to build rapport easily with warehouse staff, drivers, and corporate clients alike.
- Problem Solver: Confident under pressure with a proactive approach to overcoming daily operational hurdles.
