We're looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic Graduate Specification Sales Executive to join our team in the London & South East region. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a market-leading manufacturer, working alongside experienced professionals while building relationships with some of the UK's leading architects, engineers, housebuilders and developers.
You'll receive the training, support and mentoring you need to become a trusted technical advisor, promoting our innovative product range, including our industry-leading Hi-therm+ and Keyslip Brick Slip solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Specification Team, you'll:
- Learn how to build strong relationships with architects, developers, specifiers, contractors, energy assessors and industry bodies.
- Support the National Specification Manager in engaging with national and regional housebuilders and their technical teams.
- Promote our products at the specification stage, helping customers meet Building Regulations and project requirements.
- Deliver engaging CPD presentations following full product and presentation training.
- Identify new project opportunities while developing relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate project information and customer activity using our CRM system.
- Work closely with our commercial and technical teams to maximise project opportunities.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings across the region (occasional overnight stays and some evening events may be required).
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, potential and a willingness to learn.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree (or be graduating soon) in Construction Management, or another construction-related discipline.
- A genuine interest in the construction industry and building products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to build professional relationships.
- Strong presentation skills.
- A proactive attitude and the motivation to learn and develop.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- A full UK driving licence – this is a field based role with plenty of travel
