Step Into Teaching is offering graduates the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience as a Graduate Academic Coach before progressing into a career in teaching. This is the perfect chance to build your confidence, develop key skills, and make a genuine impact in schools across Halifax.
Whether you are interested in primary, secondary, or SEND education, our placements are designed to match your interests and career goals. You’ll work alongside experienced educators, gain first-hand classroom experience, and develop a strong understanding of school life before committing to teacher training.
Our programme provides ongoing support, expert mentoring, and hands-on experience to help you grow professionally. You’ll develop skills in classroom management, lesson support, behaviour management, and student engagement giving you a strong foundation for a future career in education.
Start Date: September 2026 – July 2027
Job Type: Full-time | Monday to Friday
Pay: £500–£530 per week (term-time only)
