Night Concierge (4 on, 4 off)

Hours: 7:00pm to 7:00am, 4 on / 4 off rota
Essential Requirement:
A full, valid UK driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to move and manoeuvre residents' vehicles on occasion as part of your duties.
About the Role
We are seeking a professional, reliable and customer-focused Night Concierge to join our team at a prestigious residential development in North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and smooth operation of the building during the night shift while delivering an exceptional level of service to residents, visitors and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, professional and courteous service to residents and visitors.
- Monitor access to the building and ensure only authorised persons gain entry.
- Carry out regular patrols of the building, grounds and car park.
- Monitor CCTV, fire alarm, lift and building management systems.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents and resident enquiries.
- Record all incidents, contractor visits, deliveries and building issues in the shift handover log.
- Liaise with emergency services, contractors and the managing agent when required.
- Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with parcel management and resident deliveries.
- Ensure communal areas remain clean, safe and presentable throughout the shift.
- Conduct daily building checks including lifts, plant areas, lighting, entrances and external grounds.
- Provide a detailed handover to the day team at the end of each shift.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a concierge, security officer, front-of-house professional or in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus with a professional and approachable manner.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Good written and verbal English skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
- Experience monitoring CCTV and access control systems is desirable.
- SIA licence preferred but not essential.
- First Aid qualification desirable.
