Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home specialising in assisted living and senior care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring smooth operational functioning.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate care staff to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Ensure medication administration is carried out accurately and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards.
- Coordinate staff training programmes to maintain high standards of nursing and home care.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently to support operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments, with a focus on senior or dementia care.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience within a care home setting.
- Knowledge of care planning processes, medication administration, and relevant legislation such as CQC standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
- Relevant qualifications in nursing or healthcare management are highly desirable.

Pay: £24,500.00-£35,328.18 per year
