Key responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners and partners on a wide range of dispute resolution and litigation files
- Drafting straightforward correspondence to clients, the court, opponents, counsel and experts
- Assisting with drafting basic witness statements and simple court applications
- Conducting legal research and preparing concise case notes or chronologies
- Issuing proceedings and using online court systems, including CE‑File where required
- Preparing, paginating and indexing court bundles, both hard copy and electronic
- Managing diaries, scheduling hearings, conferences and client meetings
- Liaising with courts, chambers and experts by phone and email
- Attending meetings and hearings to take detailed attendance notes
- Ensuring accurate file management, time recording and compliance with internal procedures
About you
- Previous experience as a paralegal in dispute resolution, litigation or a similar contentious area
- Solid understanding of civil procedure and court processes
- Confident drafting skills with strong attention to detail
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing deadlines
- Professional, client‑focused approach with strong communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team
