Job Summary
We are looking for an au pair to assist with two 8 year old twin girls and a 13 year old boy.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 3pm to 8.30/9pm, Friday 12 noon to 8.30/9pm, Saturday 3pm – 9pm, Sunday always day off. Working 5 out of 7 days – flexible on day off by agreement.
The successful candidate will have a pleasant, friendly, outgoing nature. Must be a non smoker and clean in appearance.
Live in/accommodation including all bills will be provided if needed.
A car for use whilst working will be provided.
Dinner will be provided.
5 weeks annual leave
Salary £14 per hour
Must be able to provide references
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to collect the children from School, take them home and assist with any homework, take to any activities, organise dinner, tidy up after dinner, prompt the children for their bedtime routine, prepare school clothes for the following day, prepare activities clothes as required, keep any play areas tidy. The person will be happy to take on ad hoc tasks concerning the children.
Skills
- 2-3 years experience working with children of a similar age
- Driving licence with a clean driving record for transporting children safely
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage daily routines efficiently
- Teaching or educational experience is advantageous for engaging children in learning activities
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children and parents
- Compassionate, patient, adaptable, and proactive in addressing children's needs
