About St Jude’s Housing CIC
St Jude’s Housing CIC is committed to supporting individuals and families to achieve stable housing, improve wellbeing, and build positive futures. We work across communities to provide practical housing-related support, tenancy sustainment services, and advocacy for those facing housing challenges. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and organised Family Housing Support Officer to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Family Housing Support Officer, you will work directly with families who require housing-related support to maintain tenancies, access services, improve their wellbeing, and achieve greater independence. The role operates on a rota basis between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm and 11:00am-7:00pm, Monday to Friday, to ensure support is available to families at times that best meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular home visits and welfare checks.
- Maintain accurate case records and produce reports in line with organisational requirements.
- Safeguard children and vulnerable adults by identifying risks and making appropriate referrals.
- Support families to improve life skills, financial resilience, and overall wellbeing.
- Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to positive outcomes for service users.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with St Jude’s Housing CIC policies and procedures.
