We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to support our clients engineering team. This is an exciting time to join a company on the forefront of sustainable manufacturing
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are safe, efficient, and compliant production, while maximising plant availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production
- Maintain conveyors, shredders, separators and material handling equipment
- Ensure full compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Optimise production performance, efficiency, and availability in line with output targets
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and planning teams to minimise downtime
- Contribute to outage maintenance planning, commissioning activities, and performance testing
- Calibration and maintenance of pressure, temperature and flow instruments
- Support PLC fault diagnosis and liaise with controls engineers where required
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
- Proven experience in a electrical engineering position within a manufacturing or industrial processing facility
