Clandon Regis Golf Club is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Golf Retail Assistant / Supervisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly, customer-focused environment at a well-established and highly regarded golf club.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of our golf retail shop, delivering excellent service to members and guests, and maintaining high retail standards. For the right candidate, supervisory responsibilities will form part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
- Assist customers with golf equipment, clothing, and accessories
- Process sales and manage the till using retail systems
- Maintain professional, well-merchandised displays
- Manage stock control, including inventory management, stock takes, and reordering
- Receive, check, and organise stock deliveries
- Use and operate Intelligent Golf and Foremost POS systems efficiently
- Support retail promotions and product displays
- Assist with supervising daily shop operations (where applicable)
- Ensure the shop environment is clean, organised, and welcoming
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, reliability, and a genuine interest in retail and customer service. The following are particularly important to us:
- A passion for golf
- Previous retail experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and reliable work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Confidence in a customer-facing role
- Experience with Intelligent Golf and/or Foremost POS systems (preferred but not essential)
- Supervisory experience (desirable for supervisor-level applicants)
