A leading national law firm is seeking a Property Damage Solicitor to join its expanding Property Damage team in Bristol. The firm is well known for its specialist expertise in insurance litigation and offers exposure to high-value, technically challenging work in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
You'll handle a varied caseload of household and commercial property recovery claims arising from fire, flood, impact and product liability, with many cases exceeding £100,000 in value.
This Bristol opportunity would suit a Property Damage Solicitor looking to develop their expertise within a highly regarded insurance litigation team handling complex and high-value matters.
The Role:
- Handle household and commercial property recovery claims
- Investigate liability and assess prospects of recovery
- Draft legal documents and manage disclosure processes
- Instruct counsel and experts where required
- Prepare for hearings, negotiations, and ADR processes
- Attend court and support case progression through to resolution
- Provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value insurance litigation within a growing specialist team
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent)
- 1-3 years' experience in property litigation (defendant or claimant considered)
- Experience handling property damage recovery claims
- Good working knowledge of household and commercial property claims
- Strong analytical and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and client care ability
- Able to manage a caseload independently and as part of a team
- Commercially aware with an interest in negotiation and advocacy
