Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of mechanical systems within residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Duties
- Install, service, and repair plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems in accordance with industry standards and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment and plumbing infrastructure
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using technical drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Lead small teams during installation or repair projects, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Repair or replace faulty equipment, including boilers, pumps, valves, and air conditioning units
- Assist with construction projects involving HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and specifications
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts utilised for each project or service call
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical systems installation, maintenance, and repair within the plumbing, heating, or air conditioning sectors
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and system diagnostics
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising or guiding team members on-site
- Proficiency in equipment repair and troubleshooting HVAC systems including air conditioning units
- Familiarity with construction processes related to mechanical installations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable for site visits and client appointments
