We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient operation and high-quality food preparation
- Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient sourcing to final presentation
- Develop and implement innovative menus in collaboration with management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering to minimise waste and control costs
- Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their culinary skills and teamwork
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Experience in menu development and culinary innovation
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- A passion for hospitality, serving guests, and delivering outstanding culinary experiences
Pay: £33,000.00 per year
