Who we are
We are a beautiful countryside pub and 7 bedroom guesthouse, 5 minutes drive from the city of Bath.
We are a relatively new business, with 1 year under our belt.
We are moving closer every day towards creating something really special here.
We love and care about making as much as we can from scratch, having already established our sourdough, eclectic ice cream flavours, pizza dough, condiments and more. This is just the beginning and we're so excited to see who will fit right into our ambitious ethos.

Our kitchen staff are are a unique, healthy bunch. Our chefs are more likely to be seen going for a jog after shift rather than having a pint! It's all about positivity, team work and the food!
Who you are
If you can turn up, work hard and stay positive, you will fit in here very well. You must have a level head and calm demeaner. We aren't interested in combative attitudes/big egos. We operate as one team.
You must have a respect for structure and systems, with a knowledge of EHO expectations and focus on sustainable high operational standards.
You mustn't be shy of working hard. As we are a small kitchen team, not a brigade, we share all the responsibilities of each section, which includes supporting the FOH team where possible. Understand that together we are stronger - this is how we will win.
Job Role
As a CDP you will be confident to jump into any section and support the senior chef during our busy services. You will be able to follow recipes and prepare ingredients efficiently for an organised mise en place. Experience in pizza is preferred but a willingness to learn and grow is essential. As we are a small team on the front and back, you will be expected to assist and support FOH during busier times where you can. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to participate and grow within a passionate team who have a enthusiasm for developing and sharing knowledge.
