Up to £53,000 per annum + £4,000 AMHP allowance
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join a dynamic Working Age Adult Social Work Team.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of service delivery. You will be combining leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on AMHP practice.
The role:
- Driving high-quality practice under the Mental Health Act 1983
- Supporting the management, supervision, and development of Social Workers and AMHPs
- Providing professional leadership across AMHP provision
- Coordinating daily Mental Health Act assessments
- Remaining active on the AMHP rota
Requirements:
- Social Work qualification with registration with Social Work England
- A valid AMHP qualification
- Strong management experience
- Extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983
- A passion for quality, person-centred practice
