Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs?
We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist SEN schools across London for long-term positions starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, or complex learning difficulties. Whether you have worked in schools, care settings, youth work, or have personal experience supporting individuals with SEN, we would love to hear from you.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting communication and social development
- Helping pupils achieve their educational and personal goals
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A patient, caring and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- The ability to build positive relationships and adapt to individual learning styles
