The role of Service Administrator:
- Managing and processing quotations and bookings for UK and Ireland import/export shipments
- Liaising with customers, depots, and transport companies to coordinate shipments efficiently
- Coordinating transport bookings with the transport department
- Preparing and handling transportation documentation
- Monitoring the progress of consignments and resolving any issues that arise
- Ensuring records and shipment information are accurate and up to date
- Dealing with Customs and Excise requirements and related documentation
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships
The ideal Service Administrator:
- Previous experience within logistics, transport, freight forwarding or supply chain administration
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems
- Knowledge of customs procedures and import/export documentation would be advantageous
Based with a well-established and growing logistics business in Mallusk, this is a full-time permanent role.
