Holidays, Heydays, Sideshore — we’re right on Exmouth beach, serving fresh, vibrant dishes from a mix of cuisines in a fast‑paced, seasonal setting. We take pride in doing things properly: cooking from scratch, using local produce, and keeping standards high even when the beach is heaving.
The team is friendly, hardworking and genuinely supportive. We’re looking for someone who fits that ethos — steady under pressure, proud of their craft, and happy to be part of a busy, upbeat kitchen.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running your section with confidence and consistency
- Preparing and cooking high‑quality dishes with strong presentation
- Keeping an eye on quality, pace and waste control
- Maintaining food safety standards and a clean, organised workspace
- Managing stock and supporting ordering
- Communicating clearly with the team and handling guest requests professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong cooking skills across a range of cuisines and techniques
- Solid understanding of food safety and best practice
- Ability to stay focused and accurate in a fast‑paced service
- Good organisation, time management and calmness under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and seasonal peaks
