Role
- Deliver in house and IMI training.
- Complete technical assessments.
- Visit Centre’s to ensure standards are being meet.
- Develop and maintain training courses.
- Coach & mentor learners.
Responsibility
- Deliver the training curriculum to learners in classroom, workshop and field settings.
- Work in collaboration with the training team to support ongoing course development and stay abreast of new technology as it evolves.
- Apply appropriate and fair methods of assessment, providing constructive verbal and written feedback that ensures learners know how to improve, thereby supporting rapid progression and achievement.
- Maintain safe learning environments, effectively promoting Health and Safety.
- Contribute to and participate in quality improvement activities, such as self-assessment processes, internal verification procedures and responding to learner feedback.
- Maintain learner records, marking and provide feedback.
- Set up equipment & complete practical demonstrations.
- Share responsibility for the security and general upkeep and housekeeping within the training facilities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Technical experience of working within motor vehicle industry.
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
- Level 2 award in MOT (MOT tester).
- Good time management skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good command of English & Math.
- Good IT skills and confidence to explore / exploit new technology.
- Full UK driving license.
- The role will require overnight stays and travel.
- A desire to teach.
