The role
We're hiring a Marketing Executive to join the team full-time in Manchester. It's a varied, hands-on role at the heart of how we deliver for clients — spanning client management, content creation, email marketing, video, events and digital work, with growing involvement in planning and client reporting.
You'll work across several client accounts, helping turn monthly content plans into a steady stream of high-quality work. You'll collaborate closely with our copy lead, design and content producers, take direction from the Account Director, and help support our marketing apprentice as you grow into the role.
It suits someone with strong writing and content skills who is highly organised, comfortable across a range of tools, and just as happy planning a video shoot or building a landing page as they are writing a blog or scheduling a social campaign.
What you'll be doing
Content planning and creation
- Developing monthly content plans for clients with the support of the Account Director
- Producing monthly content across social, events and website blogs
- Writing longer-form content such as blog posts and articles, to brief and to deadline
- Planning on-brand graphics and visual content for designers
- Producing and editing short-form video (e.g. CapCut or similar)
Email marketing
- Planning, writing and producing email marketing campaigns with support from Director
Video and events
- Planning and attending video shoots for client marketing campaigns
- Planning and supporting events, from preparation through to delivery on the day
Website and digital
- Producing basic websites and landing pages using Framer / Webflow
- Supporting with ongoing website management and digital updates — pages, blogs and content refreshes
Client management
- Attending and contributing to regular client calls, working closely with the Account Director
- Building strong, trusted working relationships with your client contacts via email and phone
- Responding to client requests promptly and keeping them confident their work is in good hands
- Producing monthly performance reports for clients and for AXD that clearly show results and next steps
- Helping keep projects on track and clients updated as work moves through the team
The kind of person we're looking for
You'll do well here if you:
- Write quickly and well across social, editorial, email and web, with a strong instinct for what good content looks like
- Are a confident, clear communicator in writing and on calls
- Take initiative and don't wait to be told what to do next
- Stay organised and calm while juggling deadlines across multiple clients
- Confident in managing clients, attending meetings, and working to deadlines
- Are comfortable with website builders such as Framer or Webflow (or eager to learn fast)
- Enjoy writing and creating for B2B brands
Experience and criteria
- Some agency or fast-paced marketing experience is a real plus
- Experience with social media marketing and project management tools
- A degree or qualification in marketing or a related field is welcome
