Join Our Bars Team at the Southbank Centre – Roof Terrace (Seasonal Roles)
Are you passionate about food, drinks, and creating great guest experiences? The Southbank Centre – London’s iconic hub for music, art, and culture – is looking for enthusiastic bar team members to join our roof terrace team for the busy summer season.
This is a fast-paced, outdoor bar role, perfect for people who thrive in high-volume service and enjoy working in a vibrant, social atmosphere. These roles are available immediately through to September.
What We’re Looking For
- Flexible availability: Part-time roles with at least 3 shifts per week, including evenings and weekends
- Short-notice flexibility: This is a weather-dependent outdoor bar, so we’re looking for team members who can pick up shifts at short notice when trading conditions are good
- Adaptable: Comfortable with changes to the schedule, including occasional shift cancellations due to weather
- Guest-focused: You enjoy meeting people and making every visit memorable
- Reliable team player: Organised, dependable, and supportive under pressure
- Confident communicator: Comfortable speaking with guests and colleagues in English
- Detail-oriented: Pride in presentation, cleanliness, and service standards
- Energetic and consistent: Brings a positive attitude every shift
- Eager to learn: Interested in developing skills in hospitality and bar service
