SHIFT: 7:45am to 4:45pm (Day Shift) - Monday to Friday
PAY: £13.50
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Assembly Operative to join our production team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with hand tools and power tools within a manufacturing or assembly environment. This role involves assembling components and finished products to a high standard, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products in line with technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
- Carry out routine quality checks to ensure assembled products meet company and customer standards.
- Identify and report any defects, faults, or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised workstation at all times.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of assembly processes.
- Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is desirable.
- Confident and competent in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
