Home Support Worker
Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings.
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behaviour to the supervisor.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by the client or their family.
Skills:
- Compassionate and caring nature.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Patience and understanding when working with elderly or disabled individuals.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
