Keptie Bakery - We are a small multi award winning family bakery with 3 shops throughout Angus. Our head office and bakehouse is based in Letham and our other shops can be found in Arbroath and Brechin.
We also supply many local cafes, bistros, newsagents and even castles throughout Angus.
We buy quality ingredients and use traditional methods. We are massive supporters of shopping local and practice what we preach, we buy local where we can. Angus has so much to offer with many great local suppliers.
We care about our staff and our community and we run a charity waste scheme. Keptie Bakery is a family run business where our staff matter and are not simply just a number.
We have the following position available:-
Part Time Junior Retail Assistant (age 15 +for insurance purposes)
Position 1 - 5hrs per week - Working Hours:- 10.30am - 3.30pm every Saturday
*In addition to the hours listed, you maybe asked to cover full days or additional weekday shifts during school holidays as and when required.
Our current Junior Retail Assistants have been a fantastic additions to our team, however they are due to leave us shortly as they move away to head onto further education. We are looking for a bubbly people persons who can give a first class service to our customers while working well as part of a small team.
High standards, attention to detail and multi tasking are key attributes of the role which will involve serving customers both in person and over the phone, handling cash, making sandwich fillings, preparing and taking food/celebration cake orders, washing dishes, cleaning and following instructions. The list is not exhaustive of all tasks required for this role.
Previous experience in customer service would be an advantage but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Aged 15+ - minimum age required for the position.
