About Dentec
Dentec is a growing and established accident repair business based in Glasgow, providing vehicle body repair services and solutions to customers across Scotland. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day management of supplier accounts and invoice reconciliation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing supplier payments in line with agreed terms.
- Handling supplier queries professionally and promptly.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting.
- Supporting the wider finance and administration team when required.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have extensive experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage accounting software.
- Have good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
- Be able to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Experience with Sage is essential.
