Stone Worktop Finisher - Permanent Full Time - Monday to Friday, 2 shift rotation 06:00-14:30 & 13:30 – 22:00 - £31,096 - £38,272 per annum (includes shift allowance) - Depending on experience
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Stone Worktop Finisher to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the finishing of bespoke quartz worktops in our Middlesbrough factory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect fabricated quartz/stone worktops for defects, chips, or imperfections.
- Perform edge polishing, honing, and finishing to meet specified designs and customer requirements.
- Use hand tools and machinery such as wet polishers, grinders, and CNC machines to finish surfaces and edges.
- Profiling of special edge detail.
- Interpret and follow production job cards and digital work orders to ensure accurate execution of cutting, shaping, and finishing tasks.
- Ensure all pieces meet company quality standards before dispatch or installation.
- Collaborate with fabricators, installers, and designers to ensure product quality and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Safely handle and move heavy stone pieces using appropriate lifting equipment.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in the stone worktop fabrication industry would be advantageous, though we will consider training for capable individuals with experience of using hand tools from other industries.
