Play Practitioner
Great Haywood under 5s are looking for Play Practitioner Level 3 to work in a local village preschool.
We are a CIO (charity incorporated organisation) and are registered with Ofsted, rated Outstanding June 2022, and are a member of the Early Years Alliance.
We are term time setting, opening Monday - Friday 8.30-3.30pm.
The position available is: Play Practitioner Level 3 Qualified.
Part time position - between 10-20hours per week (subject to change due to child/adult ratios)
We are looking for a Qualified Play Practitioner who is committed to delivering exceptional care to children. We are looking for a Qualified Play Practitioner for our beautiful preschool, who is professional, passionate and committed to helping make a difference to the lives of children, who attend our setting.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop, through the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and then prepares them for school
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
- Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.

- Qualifications - you will need to hold a level 3 qualification-
- NNEB * BTEC National Diploma * CACHE Diploma in Childcare * NVQ level 3 essential

- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Desirable;
- DBS check and update service or willing to undertake
- Two references, one being your current employer
Safeguarding level 1 training qualification, with the local authority, or willing to undertake plus
- paediatric first aid (12 hrs)
- food hygiene level 2 (or willing to undertake)
- 2 references, 1 must be from your current employer
