Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team for painting conveyor rollers and mesh screens that are manufactured in-house. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to various components and products, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in spray painting in the crushing and screening sector is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting
- Operate spray painting equipment safely and effectively to achieve desired finishes
- Mix paints and coatings accurately according to specifications
- Conduct quality checks on painted components to ensure consistency and adherence to standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist with assembly or fabrication tasks when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in spray painting is preferred
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations for mixing paints and measurements
- Good understanding of safety procedures related to the use of chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Attention to detail and quality standards
