Overview
We are always on the lookout for dedicated Painters to join our team for ongoing projects, work in various sites around South and West Wales. The ideal candidate must be able to complete works to a high standard, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality finishes on various surfaces. A valid driving licence is essential, enabling travel to different job sites as required. CSCS card preferred. This is a self-employed subcontractor vacancy, own tools/equipment will be required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while on-site.
- Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.
Skills
- Proficient in various painting techniques and materials.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to drive and travel to different job locations as needed.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
Experience:
- Painting: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- UK driving licence/Own vehicle (Required)
- CSCS (Preferred)
