Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring they receive high-quality, personalised care. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility
- Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and comfort
- Help in implementing and reviewing care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and clients
- Document care provided accurately using IT systems and update records as required
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive between care home locations or client homes as needed, ensuring timely assistance
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe environment for all
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear communication
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and team members
- Valid driving licence is needed for travel between locations but not mandatory for all roles

Pay: £24,420.00-£34,767.04 per year
