Laundry Collection & Delivery Driver – Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and professional Laundry Collection & Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for collecting soiled laundry from commercial clients and delivering clean, freshly processed laundry back to customers. This role is customer-facing and requires excellent time management, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect dirty laundry from customer sites according to scheduled routes.
- Deliver clean laundry and linen accurately and on time.
- Load and unload laundry safely, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Check delivery notes and ensure all collections and deliveries are correct.
- Maintain a clean and organised company vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
- Report any customer concerns, shortages, damages, or vehicle issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move laundry bags and linen cages.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Previous delivery or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.
