LCC Ltd. is looking for a reliable and experienced Evening Nursery Cleaner to join our team. This role involves cleaning a nursery setting outside of operating hours, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for children and staff.
Due to the nature of the role, an Enhanced DBS check is essential.
Duties Include:
- Cleaning nursery classrooms, play areas, toilets, and staff areas
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and high-touch points
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely in line with COSHH
- Following safeguarding, health & safety, and site procedures
- Reporting any issues or concerns to management
- Working independently to complete cleaning tasks to a high standard
What We’re Looking For:
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- At least 1 year’s professional cleaning experience
- High attention to detail and strong hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently
- Professional and respectful attitude at all times
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in a nursery, school, or childcare setting
- Knowledge of infection control and cleaning best practice
