Senior Traffic Management Operative
Our client is looking for a Senior Traffic Management Operative to join their team in the Gloucester/Gloucestershire area.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Length: Temp to Perm
- Pay Rate: £14.99 Per Hour PAYE
- Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday (Overtime rate available after 40 hours a week)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management systems.
- Setting out traffic cones, signs, barriers and temporary traffic lights.
- Working on local roads and major highway networks across Gloucestershire.
- Ensuring all traffic management activities are carried out safely and in line with regulations.
- Protecting road users, pedestrians and site operatives during works.
- Driving company vehicles to and from sites.
- Completing site checks and ensuring traffic management equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Supporting highways and construction projects across the region.
Requirements:
- Valid Lantra M1 & M2 M5 qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Must be able to drive a 3.5T van.
- Must live within 30–45 minutes of the Gloucester area.
- Previous traffic management experience preferred.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to undertake further training, including LGV Driver Training.
