We are a well-established engineering and manufacturing company specialising in high-performance electro-mechanical systems for demanding industries including aerospace, defence, and subsea applications. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Production Technician to join our team.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out precision soldering and mechanical assembly tasks as part of our production line, with a strong focus on wiring and electro-mechanical builds.
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, consistency, and pride in producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fine soldering of wires, connectors, and electronic components to a high standard
- Perform mechanical assembly of electro-mechanical products
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Conduct basic inspection and testing of assembled units
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in hand soldering (essential)
- Experience with wiring and cable assembly
- Ability to work from technical drawings and instructions
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
