Internal Sales Account Manager | Ripley, Derbyshire | Up to £35,000 per annum DOE | Permanent | Monday to Friday
Capella Professional are recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing manufacturing business based in the Ripley area.
The Business
Our client is a leading specialist in the design and manufacture of bespoke retail displays, point of sale solutions and promotional products, supplying a wide range of well known brands and retailers across the UK. With a reputation for quality, innovation and excellent customer service, they continue to invest in both their people and their capabilities to support ongoing growth.
Due to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Internal Sales Account Manager to join their commercial team.
The Role
This is a customer focused and commercially driven position, managing your own portfolio of accounts whilst supporting the external sales team with key customer relationships and projects.
You will work closely with clients and internal departments, coordinating projects from initial enquiry through to production and delivery, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities to grow existing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with account management or internal sales experience who enjoys building long term relationships and being part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing a portfolio of customer accounts
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting the external sales team with key accounts
- Producing customer quotations and estimates
- Liaising with design, production and operations teams to coordinate projects
- Keeping customers updated throughout the order process
- Identifying opportunities to increase account value and customer retention
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate customer records and account information
- Providing outstanding customer service at every stage
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within account management or internal sales
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience using Shuttleworth or similar MIS software would be advantageous, although training will be provided
- Experience within the POS, printing, packaging or display manufacturing sectors would be beneficial
- Knowledge of production and design processes would be an advantage
- A proactive and relationship driven approach to sales and account management
