Quality Assurance Officer – Six Month Contract

Job Description
· Handling of day to day activities related to customers queries, this includes but is not limited to batch documentation, deviations, change controls, technical agreements, stability reports, product specification files, Product Quality Reviews, validation reports…
· Liaising with CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organisations) and other contractors inside and outside of the EU (development, manufacturing, testing, warehousing and transportation).
· Support the QA department in maintaining the QMS in good order and up to the internal standard, reporting on a regular basis to the QA Manager.
· Participate in the batch release process.
· Liaise and communicate with the customers on Quality related topics, providing good customer service.
· Support other internal departments as and when required.
· Enforcing the compliance to European GxPs (e.g. MHRA orange guide) and Marketing Authorisation Dossiers.
Requirements
· Candidates are required to have a degree in life sciences.
· Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having an experience in the generic drugs industry would be of benefit.
· Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry guidelines including but not limited to the Eudralex volume 4, EMA guidelines and ICH guidelines (to a workable level).
· Good level of professional English (written and spoken).

Salary & Benefits
· Salary up to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
· Annual bonus (non-contractual, subject to company and individual performance).
· Pension scheme (up to 10% employer contribution).
· 25 days annual leave.
