Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our stunning fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and uphold the highest standards of cocktails/drinks quality. Previous restaurant, hotel, or fine dining is highly desirable, along with supervising and team management expertise. Minimum 3 years experience as Bar Manager is required.
Duties
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Supervise and motivate bar staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area
- Develop new drink menus in collaboration with the team
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly
- Train staff in cocktail techniques and develop them
- Assist in organising events or promotions to boost business performance
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
- Proven wine/ cocktail skills and mixologist
- Ability to manage stock levels efficiently and oversee food safety standards
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on guest service excellence
- Capable of leading a team effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Fine dining Food/Service knowledge
