We are looking for caring, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team.
Client: You will be supporting a young woman with complex healthcare needs, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, PEG feeding, scoliosis, visual impairment, and mobility support. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one client while making a genuine difference to her quality of life.
Hours:

Thursday & Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
Pay:
£12.71 – £14.29 per hour
About The Role
We're looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a young woman in her own home and the community. You'll play an important role in supporting her to live as independently as possible while ensuring her health, safety, and wellbeing are always promoted.
You will be supporting a young woman with complex health needs, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, scoliosis, visual impairment, and registered blindness.
Your responsibilities will include:

Administering medication safely and accurately.

Providing enteral feeding via jejunostomy and gastrostomy tubes, including nutrition, hydration, and medication administration.

Carrying out oral suctioning when required.

Supporting bowel management, including the administration of prescribed suppositories and enemas.

Administering oxygen as directed within the care plan.

Monitoring and responding appropriately to epileptic seizures.

Supporting with all aspects of personal care, mobility, and daily living.

Supporting the client to attend appointments and access the community, including driving where required.

Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with individual care plans.

Promote independence, dignity, choice, and emotional wellbeing.

Maintain accurate and timely electronic care records.

Build positive relationships with the client, family, and healthcare professionals.

Follow safeguarding procedures, company policies, and health and safety guidance at all times.

At least 6 months' experience in a care role (essential).

Experience supporting people with complex health needs, epilepsy, PEG feeding, or enteral feeding (desirable).

A caring, patient, and reliable approach.

Good verbal and written English.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic IT skills for completing electronic care records.

Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
