Due to continued expansion, Granite Worktops Limited is recruiting for Stone Worktop Fitters. The job entails travelling throughout South Wales, fitting Natural and Engineered Stone worksurfaces in both the private and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities and Duties
To carefully, lift and carry Natural and Engineered stone worktops, positioning them onto units etc. as designed.
To install the product correctly in line with the the standards set by the company to maintain the highest level of workmanship.
To be a presentable and professional ambassador for the company, ensuring that the workplace is treated with respect and care.
The Company provides Full Training on all aspects of the job
The successfull candidiate will receive full training. However, we would expect applicants to be competent in the use of hand tools and power tools.
The company is seeking a candidate who is self motivated and looking for an opportunity to learn new skills.
This is a hands-on role involving both site and workshop-based work. You will be responsible for accurately measuring, preparing, and fitting products to a high standard. Experience working with stone (e.g. granite, quartz) is desirable, but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
You must be willing to work additional hours, as and when required, to complete your duties.
Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence (essential)
· Good practical skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Stone industry experience is preferred but not essential
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
