- 2 week rotational shift – Monday – Thursday only 12 hour shifts
- Hourly rate: £15.32phr
- DAY SHIFT 7.00am – 7pm = 46 hours
- NIGHT SHIFT 7.00pm – 7am = 48 hours

Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery to produce specified products according to technical specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, identify malfunctions, and perform basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
- Adjust machine settings using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of tooling components.
- Handle raw materials and finished products safely within the warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with assembly processes and material handling as required, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including quality checks and machine adjustments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements based on operational observations.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, milling, welding, or assembly within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hand tools and tooling management.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings using CAD or similar systems for precise fabrication tasks.
- Competence in basic maths for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Experience with materials handling and warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of CAD design principles and proficiency in using SolidWorks for component review or modifications is desirable.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and tooling management enhances versatility in the role.
