FLT Operative
Location: Oldland Common, Bristol
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am – finish (approx. 16:30pm)
Contract: Temp to Perm

Own transport is essential due to rural location
We are currently recruiting for an FLT Operative to join a busy and well-established food production site based in Oldland Common, Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a valid FLT licence who are looking for consistent, long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Please note, this role is based within an abattoir environment, so you must be comfortable working around meat products in a chilled setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating FLT trucks safely within a fast-paced production environment
- Loading and unloading meat products and materials
- Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation
- Following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Working efficiently to meet production targets
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid FLT Licence (Ideally Counterbalance and Reach)
- In-house licences accepted
- Previous food production or warehouse experience
- Comfortable working in a chilled, abattoir environment
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Own transport due to site location
