Overview
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Marketplace Administrator to join our growing marketing team. As a family-run business, we offer a collaborative environment where you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of platforms and product ranges.
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day management of our online product catalogue across Shopify, Amazon and eBay. It’s ideally suited to someone organised, reliable and comfortable working with product data, imagery and online listings.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are presented clearly, consistently and effectively to customers. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys keeping things organised, and is confident managing product information across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Listings & Catalogue Management
- Upload and maintain product listings across Shopify, Amazon, eBay and more.
- Write and format clear product descriptions, specifications and pricing
- Create and manage product variants, tags and collections
- Monitor stock levels
- Ensure products are correctly categorised and easy to find
Content & Imagery
- Resize, optimise and upload product images to maintain site performance
- Ensure all imagery meets platform standards and brand consistency
- Assist with basic product photography and image selection where needed
Platform Optimisation
- Update keywords, search terms and basic SEO elements (meta titles, descriptions, alt text) as required
- Monitor listing health and resolve issues such as suppressed or inactive listings
- Review and refine product titles, content and pricing for performance
Performance & Improvements
- Monitor product performance and identify underperforming listings
- Review competitor listings to support pricing and content improvements
- Track early performance of new product launches
General Support
- Assist with bulk uploads, seasonal updates and promotional changes
- Maintain organised digital asset folders (images, descriptions, templates)
- Prepare and manage product data using spreadsheets and CSV files
Skills
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon or eBay (essential)
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with data and pricing
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and handling structured data
- Basic image editing or product photography skills (desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage routine tasks independently
- Interest in the pet food or pet care sector
- Positive, proactive attitude and able to work within a small team
Hybrid working of two days per week is available upon successful completion of the probation period.
Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
