This role can be either through PAYE within our business or as a self employed position.
The Queens Arms is lovely country pub in Pitminster just outside of Taunton with the beautiful Ivy Cottage holiday let next door, we are looking for somebody to clean a couple of days a week for 3 hours at a time with Monday as a preferred day when the clean is required prior to opening at 4pm. We would like a second day later in the week which can be flexible. We are also looking for support with our holiday let which will require a changeover clean in between guests. These changeovers are approx. one per week and times/days can be sporadic so flexibility to help with some of these will be advantageous.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at our properties. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers, guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Deep cleaning such as skirting boards, door handles, mirrors etc.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Report any maintenance issues to the owners
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- High standards and attention to detail
- Valid driving licence would be required unless within cycling or walking distance
