Events Coordinator / Events Manager – Temporary Contract | Wrexham | £14 - £17.50 per hour. Hybrid

We're recruiting for an experienced Events Manager to join a leading organisation in Wrexham on a temporary basis until 11th September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse programme of high-profile events, delivering memorable experiences while leading and supporting an established events team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for planning and delivering a varied portfolio of events, ensuring every detail is expertly coordinated and executed to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading events from initial planning through to successful delivery and post-event review
- Managing all aspects of event logistics, including venues, suppliers, communications and budgets
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery
- Leading and supporting an events team, providing direction and maintaining high standards
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and GDPR requirements
- Evaluating event performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and best practice
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience managing and delivering events, such as weddings, festivals, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions or hospitality-led functions
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading, supervising or coordinating teams in busy event environments
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and exceptional attention to detail
- A genuine passion for creating outstanding customer and attendee experiences

- Full-time hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid
- Based on-site in Wrexham
- Hourly rate of £17.50 per hour
