We currently require female care assistants to support our clients in their own homes. This role involves providing personal care, companionship, and day-to-day support, making a real difference to people’s lives.
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring nutritional requirements are met.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping for groceries.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in client condition to the appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and own a vehicle.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
