Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bathroom fitter to join our team on project to project basis. A skilled tradesperson responsible for installing, repairing, and refurbishing bathroom fixtures and fittings to a high standard, ensuring waterproofing, finishes, and safety compliance across residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Required skills & qualifications
- Proven experience as a bathroom fitter or multi-trade bathroom installer.
- Strong plumbing and carpentry skills; knowledge of tiling and waterproofing methods.
- Familiarity with bathroom fittings, fixtures, and accessory options.
- Ability to read schematics, plans, and measurements accurately.
- Competence in plumbing flexi hoses, traps, waste pipes, and venting basics.
- Tile setting and grouting proficiency; ability to trim and fit around obstacles.
- Knowledge of building regs and best practices for wet rooms (UK standards).
- Customer-facing skills; ability to explain work and provide recommendations.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters or electricians when required for complex projects.
- Clean UK driving license is necessary for site travel. Own vehicle is a must.
Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
