Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking for your next opportunity within children's residential care?
Meditemp are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing provider for a Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a 4-bed EBD children's home in Maidstone. The service is currently rated "Good" by Ofsted and benefits from a stable senior management team and strong operational support.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a provider that places children at the heart of everything they do whilst investing heavily in the development and progression of their staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
- Leading, motivating and developing the staff team
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations
- Conducting supervisions, audits and quality assurance checks
- Supporting care planning and positive outcomes for young people
Requirements:
- Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children's home
- Previous leadership experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or willingness to work towards (Desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
