Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in a care home setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible
- Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs of each client
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the wider care team to ensure coordinated support
- Support clients with basic health monitoring as required
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism when supporting clients
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow care plans accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues

Pay: £12.81 per hour
